MSc College Foundation Scholarship


The College Foundation Scholarship program specifically looks to engage students and young scholars from all over the world with special emphasis on the periphery, or `global south`, with leading figures in economics, law and the humanities.

The IUC College Foundation Scholarship offers a 1 year LLM program in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance as well as a 2 year MSc. A number of renown intellectuals and scholars from around the world serve on the faculty and advisory board, including: Guido Calabresi (former Dean of the Yale School of Law), David Gerber (Chicago Kent School of Law), Josef Halevi (University of Sydney), Duncan Kennedy (Harvard Law School), Ugo Mattei (University of Torino & University of California, Hastings), Stefano Rodotà (coauthor of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights), Amartya Sen (Nobel Laureate), Gunther Teubner (Frankfurt School), Jan Toporowski (SOAS, University of London), Gustavo Zagrebelsky (Emeritus President of the Italian Constitutional Court).

Our College Foundation Scholarship students are from more than 40 different countries, spanning four continents, representative of a diverse range of disciplines and cultural backgrounds, with a focus on offering opportunities to students coming from social, economic, and/or political challenges, particularly students from former colonized territories (e.g., the global south) and other newer peripheries.

MBA College Foundation Scholarships


Milgard School of Business MBA College Foundation Scholarships recognize the potential for business excellence by awarding scholarships on academic achievement and leadership in organizations and the local community focus. Please complete the attached scholarship application. Who MBA 2010-2011 Milgard School of Business Scholarships for 2011-2012 again considering scholarships. Milgard School of Business scholarships are only for students for the 2011-2012 academic year (fall, winter, spring and summer). Please answer the questions based on information from the first two pages and submit an essay and resume. Please include any other information you deem relevant to the Committee for consideration of scholarship grants. A College Foundation Scholarships GPA of 3.0 is required. You need an average of 8 credits per quarter (36 credits for the academic year if a grant year, 4 / 4) requires. Exceptions to the leave-state can be made with a reduction in the total price.

Postdoctoral College Foundation Scholarships Position in Vascular Biology


The College Foundation Scholarships blood vasculature is a main player in numerous diseases such as cancer, diabetic retinopathy, atherosclerosis, stroke complications and rheumatoid arthritis. The main focus of the lab is to characterize functional properties of the perivascular mural cells in development, normal physiology, inflammation, diabetic retinopathy and cancer. We College Foundation Scholarships are investigating the regulation of the selective transport of molecules between blood and tissue in physiology and disease.

The College Foundation Scholarships work will include isolation and study of mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells and genetic manipulation of such. Also, an array of transgenic organisms will be analyzed by ex vivo and in vivo imaging of the vasculature.To qualify, the applicant must hold a doctor’s degree or a foreign qualification deemed equivalent to a doctorate in the field of molecular biology, biotechnology/engineering or similar.

Newcastle University International Postgraduate College Foundation Scholarship

You could be eligible to apply for a NUIPS award if:

  • you have been offered a place on any postgraduate taught degree program
  • you have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes
  • you hold a first class honours degree and IELTS 7.0. Applicants holding an upper second (2:1) equivalent degree and IELTS 7.0 will be considered on a competitive basis by the closing date for applications. Applicants who do not hold a first class or upper second honours degree at the time of their scholarship application will be considered for NUIPS awards conditional upon their final degree grade.
  • you intend to register to start your studies during the 2011-12 academic year.
    Applications for a NUIPS award cannot be made for a course that has already been started by a student.

Please note that NUIPS applications cannot be considered for candidates unless they have already applied for and been offered a place to study at the University.
